Factors affecting the hardness of pellet feed.

1.Hardness measurement operation method: adjust the hardness meter, select samples, measure and read, and finally find the average value of ten samples. 2.Influence of crushing process: the finer the raw material crushing particle size, the greater the particle hardness. The crushing particle size needs to be adjusted according to different animals and ring die aperture. 3.Influence of puffing process: puffing can denature the raw material protein and gelatinize the starch, increase the hardness of the particles, and the piglet feed requires crisp particles. 4.Influence of mixing and oil addition: mixing can improve the consistency of particle hardness, adding oil can reduce the hardness of particles, and the hardness of high-moisture materials after forming is small. 5.Influence of steam conditioning: steam quality and conditioning time affect the conditioning effect. High-quality steam and longer conditioning time can improve the hardness of particles. 6.Influence of granulation process: the aperture, compression ratio, material of the ring die, the length and diameter cross-sectional shape of the particles will affect the hardness of the particles. 7.Influence of post-spraying process: cooling time, cooling air volume and particle crushing will affect the hardness of the particles.
